Jon Stone

Jon is a Seattle-based musician, arts and cultural leader, festival and concert producer, and strategic planning consultant. For over thirty years he has played key roles in the creation and execution of iconic concert, festival and civic placemaking experiences as well as educational, awareness building and business development programs for youth and emerging communities. Jon brings entrepreneurial spirit to his belief in the power of arts and celebration to build and bridge relationships on scales large and small.

Some fun facts about Jon:

  • Jon has produced, directed or managed over 3500 live performances and events, and his work has touched over 10 million audience members.

  • Jon was an inaugural city council appointee to the Seattle Music Commission, where he chaired the Youth + Community Committee for 6 years and also served on the Executive Committee. He created the original City of Music Career Day, which is still running and currently known as the Creative Economy Career Day.

  • Jon is a Past President of the Washington Festivals and Events Association (WFEA), and in 2023 was nominated and inducted into the WFEA Hall of Fame, the highest honor in the state for event producers.

  • Jon is a multi-instrumental musician and songwriter. One of his bands was on Lollapalooza in 1996.
